Everybody Loves Love
Everybody
loves love
But they
won’t do the work
To burn
the curtain
Unwilling
to dig deep to reach it
The
fireflies know, hiding deep in the forest
Moths are
lying dead by the highway
Mobs are
going by at eight and at six
Everyone
looks at their own watch
Letting it burn all around them
It’s fair to question
Does everybody really love love?
That is the question. Very pertinent answer. Thank you.
